How to Transfer Your Domain Into 101Domain From A Different Registrar
The steps in this guide will outline how to transfer your domain into 101Domain from a different registrar.
For a seamless transfer of registrar, it’s imperative to have the following requirements ready in order to transfer the domain to 101Domain.
- You must own the domain or be authorized to transfer it
- Obtain and double-check the Authorization/EPP code (case sensitive)
- Domain should not be less than 60 days old and not under the redemption period
- Privacy of the domain should be removed
- Transfer lock should be turned off
- Ensure that the domain’s contact data is up to date
Login to your 101Domain account and click on Transfer in Domains.
Type the domain name you wish to transfer and click on the Transfer button.
Enter the Authorization code from the losing registrar and click on Continue.
Proceed to Checkout and configure your preferred name servers for the domain and then submit the order.
You will receive a confirmation email on your email address on file. Another email will be sent to the reg-c email to acknowledge the transfer.
You can check the transfer status by clicking on the Domains section and select Transfer Pending.
The transfer process will be completed within 5 days from the time it was initiated.
